Passing the site of the former B&O Wayne Yard, CSX 21 leads a NB freight under the soon to be replaced B&O cantilever in Fairfield on a sunny summer evening.

The fate of the B&O CPL is starting to fall as the boxes and the holes have been dug for the new signals as a very short NS 196 tucks under them.

After a northbound NS train cleared, the approach lit B&O cantilever signal remained lit for a few brief moments as the old style signal still stands tall under the Ohio night sky.
